The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) is excited to announce the opening of applications for its Research Collaboration Grants. This opportunity is designed to foster collaborations across disciplines and institutions, supporting innovative research projects with a maximum grant of £10,000 for up to two years.
Funding Information
Grants are available up to £10,000, and the funding can be utilized over a period of up to two years. Note that applicants can only submit one proposal per award type (Small Research Grants or Research Collaboration Grants) and must ensure that each project is distinct.
Eligible Projects
RSE Research Collaboration Grants are open to all disciplines and subject areas. Events organized under this grant must be separate from RSE’s and Young Academy’s existing programs. Applicants may include up to two co-applicants, who can be based in Scotland or internationally, provided the lead applicant is based in Scotland.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time or part-time academics, including retired academics with ongoing links to Scottish institutions.
- Practitioners or research-active staff in cultural institutions with a commitment to research and teaching.
- Joint applications are welcomed, including collaborations with both UK and overseas institutions.
- Applicants must be on open-ended, continuing, or fixed-term contracts that extend three months beyond the end date of the project.
