The University Book Shop, in collaboration with the Robert Lord Writers' Cottage Trust, offers the Summer Writer in Residence Award. This residency is open to emerging writers residing in New Zealand and covers a wide range of genres, including fiction, poetry, drama, essays, and literary criticism.
Overview
The residency provides a unique opportunity for writers to focus on completing or finalizing a piece of writing, or preparing a submission for publication. It is held in Ōtepoti/Dunedin, New Zealand’s UNESCO City of Literature, offering access to a vibrant literary community.

Eligibility Criteria
