Benefits

The Africa Climate Academy is a fully funded program. Selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including:

• Course Fees: Full coverage of tuition and all course-related materials.
• Travel Expenses: Round-trip airfare for non-Ghanaians. Ground transportation for all participants, including Ghanaians.
• Accommodation: Comfortable lodging for the duration of the one-week program.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Africa Climate Academy, applicants must:

• Be an African residing in Africa.
• Hold a position as a policymaker, media professional, civil society leader, or academic with an interest in climate change and energy-related issues.
• Have at least three years of work experience in their respective field.
• Show a commitment to addressing oil dependence and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in exploring sustainable energy alternatives.
• Be fully available to participate in the one-week program.
• Possess a strong command of English, as the program will be conducted in English.
