The Swarovski Foundation launched the Creatives For Our Future programme in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships to empower the next generation of sustainable leaders by harnessing the power of creativity.

Program Overview

The programme is open to creatives worldwide, aged 21 to 30, across various disciplines, including fashion, design, art, architecture, technology, and engineering. Applicants should be working on a project or product that accelerates awareness, technology, or solutions for sustainable development, driving progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Funding Information

Six successful applicants will receive:

  • A financial grant of €20,000 each
  • An announcement trip to New York
  • A unique education programme, including one-on-one mentorship, masterclasses, and industry networking opportunities

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the programme, applicants must:

  • Be aged 21 to 30 at the time of application.
  • Be residents and nationalities of any country.
  • Be able to travel to the United States, meet visa entry requirements, and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Hold a valid passport.
  • Be the sole legal and beneficial owner of all intellectual property in the project.
  • Have a bank account in their name to receive the €20,000 grant.
  • Not be employees or households of Swarovski Foundation, Swarovski Group, or any subsidiaries involved in the programme.

Creative Categories Not Supported

  • Performing Arts (music, dance, theatre)
  • Literature (creative writing, journalism)
  • University costs or end-of-degree projects

Selection Criteria

  • Design and Creativity: Original and innovative use of design and creativity.
  • Innovation: New, original, solution-driven ideas or game-changers for existing systems.
  • Potential, Feasibility, and Scalability: Demonstrating long-term vision and sustainable development potential.
  • Impact: Positive social, environmental, and cultural impact.
  • Sustainable Development: Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Funding Transparency: Responsible use of the grant in alignment with sustainable development goals.
