Nominations are now open for the Pembrokeshire Spotlight Awards, an annual event celebrating and recognizing exceptional achievements by children and youth.
Awards Categories
The public is invited to nominate individuals or groups of children and young people across the following 11 categories:
- Most Inspiring Story: Nominations for young people who have overcome adversity, risen to a challenge, or achieved something remarkable.
- Making a Difference in the Community: Recognizing contributions that benefit others or improve the community or school.
- Achieving Positive Change: For any positive change brought about by the young person, in various aspects of their life.
- Young Leader / Peer Mentoring Award: For young people who have led, guided, or inspired their peers to achieve success.
- Arts Award: For achievements in artistic activities, including drawing, painting, sculpture, or knitting.
- Music Award: Recognizes achievements in music, whether in learning, performing, or entertaining.
- Sports Award: For notable achievements in sports, whether as a team or individual.
- Educational Award: For exceptional achievement in education, across any subject and school.
- Eco Champion Award: For efforts in environmental activities such as recycling, upcycling, or environmental campaigns.
- Voice Award: For young people who have shown a willingness to speak out on important issues or advocate on behalf of others.
- Fundraising Award: For outstanding commitment and effort in raising money for charitable causes.
