The current focus is on the relief of local poverty, aligning with the recently published ‘Tackling Poverty Strategy’ and the broader priority of poverty alleviation within Pembrokeshire.

Grants up to a maximum of £5,000 can be awarded to successful applicants.
What Can You Apply For?
Applications can be made for the following purposes:
- Relief of poverty
- Refurbishment of a community building or places of worship
- Advancement of education
- Libraries, museums, art galleries, etc.
- Advancement of religion
- Other purposes beneficial to the community
Eligibility Criteria
The fund is open to all voluntary, charitable, or benevolent groups based in Pembrokeshire. Applications are invited from:
- Churches, chapels, places of public worship
- Registered charities
- Constituted voluntary and community groups
- Not-for-profit organisations/social enterprises
- Local branches of national third sector organisations
Applications can be made using the parent body constitution, but a separate bank account is required. Confirmation of support from the parent body must be provided. Informal or formal (constituted) consortiums working on specific projects are also eligible, with all organisations involved needing to be eligible in their own right.
Ineligibility Criteria
Applications will not be accepted from:
- Private sector organisations
- Individual beneficiaries
Applications will not be accepted for:
- Any activity related to party political purposes
- Applications made on behalf of other organisations by professional fundraisers (exceptions may be made for Town and Community Councils applying on behalf of a community group)
