Overview
Churchill Fellows are dedicated individuals with a vision for change in their community or sector. They fund them to explore innovations around the world and help them implement their ideas in the UK, either in person or online. Fellows come from all areas of society and work on various issues. No specific qualifications, background, or age are required, and priority is given to those who would not receive funding from other sources.
Cost Covered
The Fellowship covers all expenses for the research phase, including travel costs. If required, it also covers interpreters and travel assistants. Fellows are funded to spend up to two months discovering best practices among global practitioners. They then publish their insights in a report and work to implement their ideas in the UK.
Eligibility Criteria
Churchill Fellowships are open to UK resident citizens aged 18 or above, regardless of background or qualifications. They prioritize applicants with lived or learned experience of the issue they wish to address. Applicants with disabilities, neurodivergence, or mental health problems are encouraged to apply, and additional support will be provided if necessary.
