About the Indigenous Youth Storytellers Circle (IYSC)
The IYSC is an ongoing project by Terralingua aimed at amplifying the voices of young Indigenous people globally. Since 2019, the project has focused on collecting and sharing stories about how Indigenous youth are reconnecting with their ancestral languages, cultures, traditional knowledge, and lands.

Submission Guidelines
Submit your story in written or visual media formats, including but not limited to:
- Essays
- Short Fiction
- Poetry
- Photo Essays
- Videos
- Postcard Stories
- Podcast Scripts
- Music
- Spoken Word
- Artwork
Before submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI), we recommend reviewing previously published Indigenous youth stories. Once you have prepared your story, complete the EOI form. If your story involves multiple youths, choose one person to submit the form.
If selected, you will receive instructions on how to submit your story in its chosen format. Accepted stories will be published on the IYSC page and remain accessible online.
Submissions can be made in English, French, or Spanish. Accepted stories will be published in English and may also be translated from French or Spanish.
The deadline for submissions is October 7, 2024. We look forward to your stories!
