Womenlift Health invites applications for the Signature Leadership Journey, a fully-funded, 12-month program designed to empower professional women leaders in public health. This transformative experience provides an inclusive network, tools, and strategies to enhance leadership presence and influence.
Program Overview
The Signature Leadership Journey is a comprehensive learning and development experience aimed at mid to senior career women in the health sector. The program focuses on creating the mindset shift needed to tackle complex global public health challenges.

- Centering Women and Girls in Health: Prioritize the needs and voices of women and girls in health initiatives.
- Catalyzing Institutional Change: Drive transformation within health institutions.
- Optimizing Pathways to Leadership: Enhance and support career progression and leadership pathways.
- Building Integrated & Resilient Health Systems: Strengthen health systems to be more integrated and resilient.
Program Elements
- Hybrid Learning: Engage in both virtual and in-person group sessions, exploring leadership frameworks and tools through interactive workshops.
- Virtual Mentorship: Benefit from mentorship by senior-level leaders across different health sectors and disciplines.
- Virtual Coaching: Receive personal leadership coaching to navigate changes and challenges.
- In-Person Sessions: Participate in a 3-day experiential convening to apply skills and reflect on real-world examples.
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:
- Identify as a woman.
- Work in public health policy, practice, or research at a national or East Africa regional level.
- Have 10-20 years of experience in public health.
- Reside and work in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Ethiopia.
- Be a national of one of the six countries.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and verbal English.
