Open Call: Nordic Mensa Fund Grants and Awards

The Nordic Mensa Fund is seeking applications to award up to five "Article of the Year" awards and several project grants. The Fund supports scientific research related to medical, psychological, sociological, or educational aspects of intelligence and the human brain.

• Article of the Year Awards: €1,000 each, with a maximum of five awards
• Project Grants: Up to €10,000

Eligibility Criteria

• The nominee or main applicant must be affiliated with Sweden, Finland, Norway, or Denmark by nationality, residence, or university affiliation.
• Article of the Year Awards: Personal grants for outstanding published scientific articles related to the Fund’s research areas published after 1st January 2023. Nominations can be made by anyone, including the author. Nominations should include a justification of up to 500 words in English.
• Project Grants: Intended to cover direct research costs. Applications should include a PDF research plan (max. 2 pages), a 1-page CV, a short popular description of the project, and contact information for a reference. Grants above €5,000 will have 80% disbursed upfront, with the remaining 20% upon submission and approval of the final report.
