About MEET & CONNECT

MEET & CONNECT is a startup competition featuring an in-person pitching contest livestreamed in Tokyo and Paris. Since its inception in 2018, this unique event dedicated to French and Japanese startups has been organized in partnership with La French Tech Tokyo and attracts high-ranking corporate executives annually.

Theme

The theme for 2024 is "Tech4Good". Tech4Good emphasizes the power of creative technologies in addressing future challenges. The competition seeks to support startups that demonstrate significant positive impact through innovative solutions, aligning with Social Development Goals and partnering with multinational corporations.

• Best Japanese Startup for the French/European Market Contributing to Low Carbon Transition: Acceleration program in France at Le Village by CA Occitanie (Toulouse, Montpellier, Perpignan) with flights and accommodation included.
• Most Promising Startup for a Sustainable Society: 20 hours of coaching by Air Liquide experts.
• Best Startup in Innovative Health Services: Pitch to AXA Japan Executive.
• Best Startup in Sustainable Mobility: Pitching in front of FORVIA Faurecia Clarion Electronics (FCE) Japan Board Members and a half-day-long innovation session with the FCE R&D Team.
• Innovative Startup of the Year 2024 for Sustainability: One-day Innovation program, including pitching to ME Innovation Fund and Business Unit.

Eligibility Criteria

This challenge is open to startups regardless of their business area. Participants may need to provide proof of company registration and a valid professional insurance policy. The challenge is not open to employees or representatives of the Sponsors and Agorize or their families and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
