Open Call: dAIEDGE Exchange Programmes to Support AI Ecosystem

The dAIEDGE Network of Excellence (NoE) aims to enhance and support the development of a cutting-edge European AI ecosystem under the European Lighthouse for AI, promoting advanced AI research and innovation.

Funding Information

The dAIEDGE Open Call for Exchange Programmes has a maximum budget of €600,000. Each beneficiary can receive up to €60,000 for participating in an Exchange Programme lasting up to 7 months, divided into two stages:

  • Stage 1: Plan Phase - Duration: up to 2 months. Deliverables include a Research Plan Document. Funding up to €15,000.
  • Stage 2: Exchange Phase - Duration: 5 months. Deliverables include a Technical Report. Funding up to €45,000.

What Types of Activities Can Be Funded?

The programme will finance mobility and living costs for researchers and PhD students to conduct research in AI at the EDGE within dAIEDGE member organizations. The goal is to produce a common scientific publication, preferably in Open Access Journals. Projects should have a clear European dimension and generate substantial benefits for European citizens.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants include:

  • Natural persons (citizens or permanent residents).
  • Single legal entities, including Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs), academia, or SMEs (including startups) legally registered at the time of application.

Applicants must be from:

  • EU Member States and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT).
  • Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
