Zendal is calling for proposals for its V International Zendal Awards, aimed at advancing and recognizing knowledge and research in the field of biotechnology globally.

Zendal’s mission is to enhance living conditions through the research and development of medicines and vaccines, focusing on disease prevention for both humans and animals. They integrate sustainability and biodiversity into their work, acknowledging the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health.
Award Categories
The International Zendal Awards recognize institutions, public or private, for their contributions to human and animal health, particularly in vaccines, prevention, and biotechnology. The awards include:
- Human Healthcare Award: €40,000 donation to an institution that improves human health and disease prevention.
- Animal Healthcare Award: €25,000 donation to an institution that advances animal health and disease prevention.
- Tribute Award: Recognition of an individual’s career in advancing vaccines, disease prevention, and the One Health concept. The tribute prize will consist of an achievement award.
