Implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions on the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda

UN Women is inviting applications for its training program focused on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security. This program aims to build capacities for the resolution's implementation at regional and national levels.

Objective

The training program consists of three courses designed to raise awareness and build capacities for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325. Each course addresses the efforts, challenges, and prospects of implementation in specific regions: Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Participants will learn about the specific women, peace, and security issues in their respective regions and explore entry points for implementing the resolution provisions.

Course Modules

• Africa: Focuses on the regional efforts, challenges, and prospects for implementing the resolution in Africa.
• Asia: Addresses the specific issues and implementation strategies relevant to Asia.
• Latin America and the Caribbean: Covers the regional dynamics and approaches for implementing the resolution in these areas.
