WWF-Canada invites applications for its Go Wild Grants, aimed at supporting innovative, hands-on projects that will help nature thrive. These grants are open to primary, secondary, and post-secondary institutions across Canada.
Funding Information
- Primary Schools: Grants of $1,500 per institution for projects to be completed during the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Secondary Schools: Grants of $1,500 per institution for projects to be completed during the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Colleges, Universities & CEGEPs: Grants of $2,000 per institution for projects to be completed on campus between February and October 2025.
Eligible Costs
Funding can cover materials and services associated with the project, including but not limited to:
- Plants, soil, equipment, and field costs
- Honoraria for Indigenous elders and knowledge keepers
- Communication materials and promotional costs
- Costs associated with documenting the project
- Permits; facility or vehicle rental fees, if necessary
Eligibility Criteria
Primary and Secondary Schools
- Schools, classrooms, or student groups in Canada (Grades K – 12)
- Applications must be completed by an educator or school employee; students should collaborate with their teacher.
Colleges, Universities & CEGEPs
- Individual students of majority age
- Ratified student clubs and student associations
- Faculty, staff, and campus offices
