The European Union System for an Enabling Environment for Civil Society (EU SEE) seeks experienced Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) or networks to monitor, update, and report on the state of the enabling environment for civil society in 18 different countries.

Funding Information and Duration
Funding is between €15,000 and €20,000 per year for a duration of 1 year, with a possibility for renewal based on performance.
Components
The EU SEE operates on two components:
- Lot 1: Monitors progress and obstacles affecting civil society. It includes internal and external coordination, support for building the EU SEE Early Warning mechanism (EWM), and annual country focus reports.
- Lot 2: Provides flexible and timely financial support for civil society activities.
Project Activities and Deliverables
- Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly gather, document, and report information on the enabling environment using standardized templates/methodology.
- Early Warning System Participation: Notify the EU SEE consortium of significant events impacting the enabling environment, providing detailed summaries and sources.
- Country Focus Reports: Contribute to annual reports with data, qualitative analyses, and recommendations on key principles affecting the enabling environment.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with consortium partners, EU representatives, and other stakeholders to share insights and develop advocacy strategies.
- Public Communication: Disseminate findings through mainstream and social media, ensuring timely and accurate public communication.

Eligibility Criteria
- CSOs or networks with capacity to manage long-term grants, based in the listed countries.
- Experience in monitoring the enabling environment for civil society.
- Expertise in data collection and analysis related to civic space.
- Ability to collect and document data, with outreach capability through mainstream or social media.
- Extensive partnerships with civil society, including marginalized groups.
- National coverage, especially in rural areas.
