Focus Areas
- Community: Solutions for equality issues like education, healthcare, and political power.
- Education: Programs for restorative justice, school board representation, and combating stereotypes.
- Health: Expanding reproductive health and comprehensive sex education.
- Environment: Addressing pollution, environmental cleanup, and better transit access.
- Violence: Alternatives to criminal justice, peer intervention, and improving public safety.
- Media: Holding corporate media accountable for promoting justice and peace.
Who Can Apply?
Youth (up to 26 years old) with existing projects or new ideas for social change are encouraged to apply. Projects must be connected to a nonprofit organization or have a fiscal sponsor. We prioritize collaborative, risk-taking, and strategic initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations with budgets less than $1,000,000.
- Projects must be based in the Chicago metropolitan area or Northwestern Indiana.
- Must work towards social change and involve grassroots leadership.
