Purpose
The Support Foundation for Civil Society is pleased to announce the Digital Transformation Fund Program to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Turkey. This program is designed to assist NGOs with their digital transformation processes through capacity strengthening programs and grants.
Program Overview
The program spans 14 months and includes:
- Informative workshops and meetings in the first two months.
- Grant support, mentoring, and talent development opportunities for the following 12 months.
Approaches
Applications for the 2024 term should include at least one of the following approaches:
- Institutional Efficiency: Enhancing NGO data management, acquiring new software, and improving team adaptation to digital processes.
- Strengthening Communication with Stakeholders: Developing communication infrastructure, supporting advocacy efforts, and digitizing programs.
- Income Generating Product/Service Development: Creating donor interfaces, e-education programs, and donor-focused information systems.
- Opening Data and Infrastructure to Sharing: Making digital infrastructures and data accessible to other NGOs.
Benefits
NGOs will benefit from:
- Learning key digital concepts and approaches, including free internet, software, open source, and data.
- Planning and implementing digitalization processes tailored to their needs.
- Gaining familiarity with digitalization experts and resources.
Funding Information
The total grant amount available is at least 1,684,000 TL. Applicants can request a maximum of 210,500 TL from the grant program.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants include:
- Associations, foundations, cooperatives, and other non-profit organizations established in Turkey.
- Organizations actively working in the field for at least one year.
- Organizations with revenues between 40,000 TL and 4,000,000 TL in 2023.
- Organizations with relevant experience and capacity.
