In collaboration with Romania's Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, and energy & utility companies, Techcelerator is inaugurating the CleanTech Accelerator. This initiative is designed to assist startups and creators in developing significant technological solutions, advancing the clean technology industry, and influencing the regional energy sector.

Program Overview

The CleanTech Accelerator offers a unique opportunity for startups to become part of a network involving seasoned industry professionals, investors, and specialists. Selected startups will benefit from:

• Strategic Alliances with leading companies and access to specialized service tracks.
• Opportunities for paid Proof of Concepts (POCs) addressing challenges posed by partner companies.
• Sandbox Environments offering access to relevant infrastructure and industry partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria

The CleanTech Accelerator is looking for emerging-impact and high-tech companies developing innovative solutions in the following Clean Tech verticals:

• Digital and Smart Solutions for Cleantech: Utilizing advanced analytics, AI, and IoT to optimize energy consumption, reduce waste, and improve renewable energy systems.
• Advanced Renewable Energy Solutions: Expanding solar and wind technologies and integrating them into smart grids for optimized performance.
• Comprehensive Green Hydrogen Ecosystem: Developing solutions for green hydrogen production, transport, and storage.
• Next-Generation Carbon Management: Enhancing carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies.
• Expanded Circular Economy Practices: Broaden recycling initiatives and promote zero-waste practices.
• Energy Storage Breakthroughs: Investigating novel storage technologies for greater efficiency.
• Eco-Friendly Urban Infrastructure: Developing green buildings and sustainable urban planning solutions.
• Water & Hydro Management Technologies: Implementing smart technologies for water management and wastewater treatment.
• Carbon Sequestration: Promoting technologies that enhance carbon sequestration.
• Sustainable Materials and Chemicals: Advancing biodegradable materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.
• Cyber Security Projects for Energy Infrastructure: Open Zone for other relevant areas.

Companies from Eastern Europe and Europe, at any stage of development, are encouraged to apply. This includes those that are incorporated or not, in the idea, prototype, user, or paying user stages, and those raising or not raising funds.
