The Women's Fund Armenia is excited to announce its Feminist Events dedicated to the National Day (October 1) for Combating Domestic Violence in Armenia. These events aim to advance feminist goals, foster community, and spark transformative change.

Grant Amount: Up to 500,000 AMD (including taxes).

Theme

The theme for the events is Domestic Violence and the Fight Against it. Submissions are encouraged to explore this theme through various lenses, including but not limited to intersectionality, feminist justice, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and feminist art and culture.

Categories

Proposals are welcome for the following types of events:

  • Workshops: Interactive sessions aimed at skill-building, education, and empowerment.
  • Panels and Discussions: Engaging conversations on feminist topics featuring diverse perspectives.
  • Performances: Artistic presentations, including theater, music, dance, and spoken word, that explore feminist themes.
  • Film Screenings: Documentaries or films followed by discussions on gender-related issues.
  • Exhibitions: Visual art displays that reflect feminist principles and inspire critical thought.
  • Community Actions: Activist initiatives or campaigns designed to mobilize and engage the public.

Eligibility Criteria

Proposals are invited from a diverse range of applicants, including:

  • Grassroots feminist organizers
  • Academics and researchers
  • Artists and performers
  • Community leaders and activists
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Student groups

Submissions are especially encouraged from individuals and groups representing marginalized communities, including women of ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, women with disabilities, migrant and displaced women, women living in bordering regions, and those from other backgrounds.
