Call for Proposals: Youth Development Grant - New Zealand

Applications are now open for the Waimakariri Youth Development Grant, which aims to inspire young people to achieve personal goals and add value to their community.

Purpose

The Waimakariri Community Boards established this grant to:

• Enhance young people's skills and strengths, including self-worth, decision-making, good relationships, resilience, positive mental health, life skills, and leadership.
• Provide opportunities for young people to connect positively with their community in meaningful and practical ways.
• Help and benefit others through their efforts.

Funding Information

Grants of up to $4,000 are available for allocation to suitable applicants in the 2024/2025 financial year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025). The Committee may award more than one grant, up to a combined maximum of $4,000.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be young people living in the Waimakariri District.
• Be aged between 12 and 24 at the time of application.
