Call for Applications: Zensurance Small Business Grant (Canada)

Zensurance is seeking applications for its Small Business Grant program from Canadian entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners with compelling stories about their business to help them grow.

Funding Information

One winner will receive a $10,000 grant as a cash deposit or equivalent.

Five runner-up winners will each receive grants of $1,000.

What are they looking for?

A strong submission should include:

Your business’s story: Share what you do, your challenges, and what inspires you to keep going. Zensurance wants to hear about your unique journey.
Your business goals: Outline your short- and long-term goals and how you plan to achieve them.
A plan for how you’ll use the grant: Explain how the grant money will help you achieve your aspirations and fuel your success.

Eligibility Criteria

You must be a budding entrepreneur or small business owner.
Both for-profit, not-for-profit, and social enterprises are eligible.
Employees of eligible businesses may also apply with written permission from the business owner, president, or CEO.
Your business must be Canadian, revenue-generating, and have 1-100 employees.
Your company must have a business bank account that is not used for personal expenses.
Your company’s annual revenue must not exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000).

Ineligibility Criteria

The grant program is void where prohibited by law and is not open to residents of Quebec, Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut.
Only one entry per business is allowed. Multiple entries may result in disqualification.
Entrants must be Canadian residents who have reached the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
Employees, representatives, contractors, or agents of Zensurance and related entities are not eligible to participate.
