Overview

Each year, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships supports 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate education. The aim is to empower students to continue their studies without financial burden, enabling them to become successful professionals and realize their dreams. These scholarships unlock their potential to contribute towards India’s future socio-economic development.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a resident Indian citizen.
  • Passed Standard 12th with a minimum of 60%.
  • Currently enrolled in the first year (academic year 2024-25) of a regular full-time degree course in any stream.
  • Have a household income below Rs. 15 Lakhs (preference for Rs. 2.5 Lakhs).
  • Aptitude test is mandatory.

Ineligibility Criteria

The following students are not eligible:

  • Second-year students or those who started their courses in the academic year 2023-24 or earlier.
  • Students pursuing their degree through online, hybrid, remote, or distance modes.
  • Students who have passed a diploma after Standard 10th.
  • Students enrolled in 2-year undergraduate degree courses.
  • Students who do not take the mandatory aptitude test or are caught cheating during the test.
