The Trustees are especially interested in projects that focus on:

  • Performance-based projects, particularly interdisciplinary works that combine dance or music with multiple styles
  • Group exhibitions or retrospectives inspired by Asian concepts, with broad Asian representation, or artists having their first UK exhibition

Eligibility Criteria

Projects must meet the following requirements:

  • Be hosted by established organisations with a proven track record in delivering artistic projects
  • Promote traditional or contemporary Asian culture
  • Feature established or mid-career artists from Asia or its diasporas
  • Lead to a tangible public outcome

Note: The Foundation does not support research and development-only projects or applications from individuals.

Ineligibility Criteria

The Foundation does not fund:

  • Research and development-only projects
  • Film production and post-production
  • Capital projects, archival projects, or archive digitisation
  • Collection redisplay, acquisitions, or curatorial research-only projects
