This initiative provides grants to research scientists and physician scientists globally to enhance patient care and management.
Funding Information
Grants of up to €50,000 are available for eligible research projects.
Eligible Projects
- Projects aimed at improving understanding of disease factors, from pathogenesis to progression.
- Studies focused on patient-tailored clinical management.
- Project proposals from regions outside the Americas.
Ineligible Projects
- Studies with extensive prior data already published.
- Studies investigating the efficacy and safety of drugs, including pre-clinical and clinical (interventional and observational) studies.
- Projects with objectives or endpoints similar to those of investigator-sponsored studies previously supported by Chiesi Group or its subsidiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a principal investigator, research scientist, or physician scientist at an organization operating in the health or scientific research sector, compliant with local legislation.
- Hold a professional degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD).
- Be responsible for the conduct of the study.
- Have permission from their organization to apply for the grant.
