Program Overview
The FASPE Design and Technology Fellowship Program awards fellowships to 13 to 16 graduate students and early-career professionals working in fields such as engineering, architecture, computer science, design, and related areas. FASPE is an intensive, two-week study program in professional ethics and ethical leadership, focusing on challenging Fellows to critically examine ethical issues in their professions.
The Design and Technology (D&T) Fellows will delve into the historical role of technologists and designers in enabling and executing Nazi policies. Through this lens, the program helps Fellows understand their responsibilities in shaping built environments and encourages them to address current ethical challenges in their professions.
Program Details
Fellows will spend two weeks in Germany and Poland, visiting key sites of Nazi history and participating in daily seminars led by specialized faculty. The program provides an interdisciplinary experience by allowing Design and Technology Fellows to interact with Business and Law Fellows, expanding their understanding of professional roles across different fields.
The FASPE Fellowship is fully funded, ensuring that financial constraints do not limit participation.
