- Collaborative
- Focused on long-term solutions and outcomes
Funding Information
Taranaki Foundation Annual Funding
Grants range from $500 to $5,000, with the average grant last year being $2,000.
Tindall Funding
This year, approximately $48,000 is available for Tindall Foundation donations, with grants ranging from $500 to $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Taranaki Foundation Annual Funding
- Applications must have a charitable purpose.
- Be based in Taranaki or deliver a substantial portion of your services in the region.
- Applications must be received from the entity governing or managing the activity being applied for.
- Taranaki Foundation accepts one grant application per organisation.
- Operational costs (such as programme costs, wages, rent, etc.) can be included.
Tindall Funding
Requests are accepted annually, and organisations may reapply in consecutive years. Funding is generally unavailable for more than three consecutive years.
Ineligibility Criteria
Taranaki Foundation Annual Funding
The Taranaki Foundation does not fund:
- Religious or political advocacy
- Activities focused on fundraising or re-gifting
- Core education
- Individuals (except for scholarships)
- Activities outside the Taranaki Region (unless indicated by a specific donor)
- Retrospective claims
Tindall Foundation Funding
The Tindall Foundation does not support:
- Core or public health services
- Core education programmes
- Research from outside a community without its direct involvement
- Sport, leisure and recreation or the arts
- Overseas organisations or projects
- Overseas travel expenses and exchange programmes
- Buildings or land
- Animal charities
- Capital assets or equipment costing over $3,000
- Individuals
- Religious or political advocacy
- Venture capital initiatives
