Applications Open for the Norden 0-30 Funding Programme 2024

The Nordic Culture Point is inviting applications for the Norden 0-30 Funding Programme. This programme aims to support projects initiated by children and young people, focusing on strengthening their organisational skills, influence, and participation in political, cultural, and social activities.

Funding Information

The Norden 0-30 Funding Programme offers financial support based on the number of Nordic countries involved in the project:

  • Up to 50,000 € for projects involving at least three Nordic countries.
  • Up to 10,000 € for projects involving two Nordic countries.

Eligibility Criteria

Grants are available to:

  • Organisations, groups, municipalities, institutions, associations, and networks.
  • Projects with partners from two or three Nordic countries. Projects with two Nordic countries must include Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, or Åland Islands.
  • Projects with at least three Nordic countries can include Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Åland Islands.
  • Applicants do not need to be young but must represent a partner with experience involving children and young people.
  • Projects involving cooperation with Greenland, Faroe Islands, Åland, or the North Calotte are encouraged. Cooperation with Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia is also eligible.

Eligible Projects

Funding supports projects or networks with cultural, political, or social activities where children and young people are actively involved in planning, implementation, and evaluation. Projects must encourage democratic participation and ensure the involvement of children and young people in the project.

Ineligibility Criteria

Funding cannot be granted to:

  • Organisations or networks without experience in involving children and young people.
  • Individuals.
  • Sports organisations.
  • Commercial projects or activities aiming for financial profit.
  • Normal operating procedures, such as equipment or furniture purchases, or salaries not directly linked to the project.
