This fund supports groups working with audiences who have not previously talked about climate change or the local actions they can take. Priority will be given to innovative projects that try new ideas for reaching wider audiences.

Community Engagement
This strand supports groups looking to collaborate with others in the area to improve their communities and address climate action.
Community Activation
This strand supports groups to activate their communities around climate action through projects that encourage engagement, training, education, or leadership building.
Funding Information
- Community Awareness: Funding available: €2,500
- Community Engagement: Funding available: €5,000
- Community Activation: Funding available: €10,000
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible organisations must:
- Be a registered charity or local community/voluntary group
- Have an annual income of less than €1,000,000
- Have up-to-date and sufficient governing documents, accounts, and a dedicated bank account
- Include non-profit sports clubs or religious groups

Community Awareness
Newly established groups or organisations aiming to raise awareness of climate-positive activities. Examples of proposals include:
- Raising awareness of local environmental activities through administrative or media-related efforts
- Hosting events that encourage community members to become climate advocates
Community Engagement
Organisations seeking to build connections and movements with others in the area. Examples of proposals include:
- Developing strategies that grow partnerships
- Establishing community hubs to support climate action
Community Activation
Partnerships between environmental or non-environmental organisations. Examples of proposals include:
- Launching or scaling up local environmental initiatives that involve community activation
- Scaling up awareness-raising or community engagement activities
Ineligibility Criteria
Ineligible organisations include:
- Charities or community groups with an annual income of more than €1,000,000
- Statutory bodies
- For-profit companies
- Organisations outside the Republic of Ireland
