The City of Parramatta is excited to announce the opening of applications for the Small Grants Fund. This fund supports the development of networks and partnerships between communities, local groups, agencies, and the City of Parramatta Council.
Funding Details:
- Funding Amount: Up to $2,000 per application
- Total Available Funding: Approximately $40,000 per financial year
- Funding Cap: One application per organization per financial year
Eligible Projects Include:
- Project development and implementation
- Capital purchases related to specific projects
- Building internal capacity of the organization
- Resource development
Objectives:
- Maximize access to community resources, services, and facilities
- Encourage community participation in projects and activities
- Increase effective activity related to Community Funding Priorities
Desired Outcomes:
- Increased community involvement and engagement
- Enhanced social wellbeing and access to information
- Improved skills development and community connections
- Reduced financial hardship and social disadvantage
- Enhanced sustainability for local communities
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a not-for-profit incorporated organization or have auspice from one
- Located within the Parramatta LGA or serving Parramatta residents
- No outstanding debts to the Council
- No overdue progress or acquittal reports for previously funded grants
