The Mastercard Foundation and Opportunity International are seeking applications from micro and small agribusinesses in Uganda to participate in a program that provides digitization and credit services.
Program Objectives
The program aims to support the growth and resilience of agribusinesses by:
- Providing access to affordable and appropriate financial services, including credit, savings, and insurance.
- Offering training and mentorship to strengthen business and financial management skills.
- Facilitating access to digital tools and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a micro or small agribusiness operating in Uganda.
- Have been in operation for at least 12 months.
- Demonstrate a need for financial services and digital solutions to grow their business.
- Be willing to participate in training and mentorship activities.
Application Process
To apply, interested businesses should submit a completed application form, along with supporting documents, by September 30, 2024. The application form and guidelines are available on the Opportunity International website.
